The firm represents clients in a diverse range of technologies and products including medical/ surgical instruments and methods; automotive technology; machine tools; propulsion systems; laser-guided projectiles; photovoltaic systems; biotechnology products; photographic devices; packaging systems; construction equipment; electrical apparatus and circuitry; suspension systems; and other disciplines.

Clifford F. Rey earned his BA degree in Applied Arts and Sciences at San Diego State University, 1982, and his JD degree at National University School of Law, 1992. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar, 1993, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, 1994, and registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, 1994.
